Image surveys

• For ten years, Jyväskylä has been listed among the top three municipalities in Finland in terms of the best general public image (of municipalities with more than 50,000 inhabitants). (VIP municipality image survey)
• In 2008, Jyväskylä had the best image in the categories of profitable municipal co-operation, activeness in municipal development and in developing business life. (VIP municipality survey)
• Jyväskylä achieved second position among 35 cities in a survey measuring respondents’ desire to relocate, with the following results: the best growing environment for children, pleasant living environment, excellent education opportunities and a strong public image.
